Store Policies
Emare Chivaox is a small, Black woman-owned business that is owned and operated by Emma. Emma takes pride in everything she created to uplift the marginalized community to which she belongs. As a millennial, she understands what it is like to grow up in fomo (fear of missing out) culture; however, this is not a permissible basis for a customer to request a refund after making an impulsive purchase. Please review this website and all the policies prior to your purchase, to ensure you make an informed decision before you spend your hard-earned money.
Ordering
1.1 You must create a customer account to place an order.
1.2. To place an order, your shipping and billing address must match.
1.3 After an order is placed, the items in the order cannot be modified. If you request any modification to your order after it has been placed, your order will be canceled and you will receive a refund. Please double-check and triple-check the items in your cart to ensure they are correct before purchasing.
1.4 You cannot change your address once your order has been placed. If you request an address change after an order has been placed, your order will be canceled and you will receive a refund. Please double-check and triple-check your address details to ensure they are correct before you place your order.
1.5 If your order is flagged by a fraud prevention tool as high-risk, your order will be canceled and a refund will be issued. If you believe this has been done in error, please contact us at orders@emarechivaox.com.
1.6 You will receive an order confirmation email when your order has been successfully placed.
1.7 All orders will be processed within 3-5 business days, which excludes weekends and holidays. For example, if the 5th day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the order will be processed by the following Monday, which is the next business day.
1.8 If you placed an order and have not received an order confirmation email within 5 business days, please contact Emare Chivaox at orders@emarechivaox.com.
Refunds/Exchanges
2.1 All sales are final, which means no refunds will be issued.
2.2 If you believe you were sent the wrong product or your product contains a defect, please contact Emare Chivaox within 72 hours of the date your order is delivered to your location (based on the delivery confirmation date provided by the shipping carrier) at orders@emarechivaox.com. If we made a mistake, we will do our best to make it right!
2.3 Emare Chivaox does not allow exchanges for any reason, including a customer ordering the wrong size. Please refer to the size chart to determine the product measurements before placing an order.
Shipping
3.1 All orders will be processed within 3-5 business days, which excludes weekends and holidays. For example, if the 5th business day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the order will be processed by the following Monday.
3.2 Once your order has been processed, it will be tendered to the shipping carrier no later than the 5th business day after your order was placed. You will receive an estimated shipping date when the carrier processes your item in their system, which could take up to 48 hours after we drop it off.
3.3 You will receive a shipping confirmation email when your order has been shipped, which will contain a tracking number for your order. Please refer to the tracking number to determine your shipping status with the carrier.
3.4 Once an order has been tendered to a shipping carrier, Emare Chivaox is no longer responsible or liable for the package.
3.5 Emare Chivaox has no control over when you will receive your package or the condition in which it will arrive, after it has been provided to a shipping carrier.
3.6 If any issues arise with shipping after the package has been tendered to a shipping carrier, please contact the shipping carrier to address the issue; this includes damaged packages, delayed shipping, lost packages, and stolen packages.
3.7 If your order was delivered to the shipping address you provided when you ordered, but you claim you did not receive it, please contact the shipping carrier to address this concern.
3.8 Shipping is a flat rate of $9.00 per order.
3.9 Emare Chivaox only ships to addresses in the United States (excluding PO and APO boxes). Please check back for updates on this policy, as we plan to expand our shipping locations as we grow.
